Participant FAQ
Joining in and supporting the show.
How do chat suggestions work?
Use !topic your idea @PlayerName or !gif search words @PlayerName. Omit @PlayerName for any performer. GIFs and topics require moderator approval. Use !rate 1–10 during audience voting.
Do I need to log in?
Twitch chat commands work in the connected broadcaster’s chat. Website login uses your Twitch account. Your dashboard shows followed streamers who are live with an active Toybox game. Open a game, choose a round and performer, then submit text or a GIF for approval. Camera guests connect through Stream Together or Discord; the website does not capture your camera.
How do I use my own OBS camera?
Open Participant Toolbox, copy the browser source to OBS, pair it and build the personal camera scene. Select your camera on the website. The scene has a green background and optional removal filters. Use OBS Virtual Camera in Discord or Stream Together. Broadcaster control is optional and can be revoked.
How do I play After Hours?
The host links your Twitch username to your camera before starting. On your turn, tap a location or activity in the game lobby, or type !choose followed by the option number in Twitch chat. Use !next after the short scene. Only your linked account can choose for you; the host can also direct the game.
Why did my suggestion not appear?
A moderator must approve it first. A trailing @PlayerName targets that performer. Approval queues the suggestion; it may not appear immediately.
Can I switch dashboards?
Use Switch to streamer or Switch to participant after signing in.
